I Know I Should Rejoice

But for today, I grieve.

One of the most beautiful women in the world and one of the loveliest women you could have ever met is at Home dancing on the streets of gold. I know I should rejoice and deep down in my heart I do rejoice for her but for now, I grieve for me.

She was a mentor. She was my friend. She was my hair dresser and the one who told me that I should wax my eye brows. 🙂

It is so hard to believe that she is gone. We had lost touch after we both left the same church but we would occasionally see each other at our local grocery store. She was a breath of fresh air and always had the fragrance of her Father on her. She knows Him well and He knew her intimately. She is a friend of God’s.

I can almost hear Him say, “Well done thy good and faithful servant enter into the joy of your Lord.”

I love you Liliana, you are an inspiration not only to me but to many. I miss you but I will see you again.
