I Will Not Be Overwhelmed

I will not be overwhelmed, I will not be overwhelmed, I will not be overwhelmed.

I’m thinking that if I say that to myself enough times, it will sink in. It will won’t it? No, I didn’t think so, what I need to do is to cast my cares and allow God to be God and to get out of His way. What I need to do is to allow His Holy Spirit to guide me and that only happens when (as stated above) I get out of the way and allow God to be, well, God.

We will begin our 6th year of homeschool this fall. I can hardly believe it’s been six years since we began our journey. In all reality it started almost 11 years ago when our first son was born, I just didn’t call it “homeschool”.

As I’m planning and preparing to begin a new year, I need to get out of the way. I need to let God be God and to just be me following His leads. Why is it so hard?

I am reminded of the verse in Isaiah where it says, “All your children shall be taught of the Lord and great shall be the peace of your children”.

  1. OH this is good.

“I need to get out of the way. I need to let God be God and to just be me following His lead.”

Timely reminder for me – thank you!!!

    • You’re welcome Shawntele. God has big plans for Bible in 90 Days. We may see a glimpse of what He is doing but there are eternal changes taking place that we nay never see until we get to our eternal destination.
