Day four of 3 in 30 and I am not doing so well at going to bed at 10:30. Last night it was after midnight because I was up late doing my Day 3 reading for Read the Bible in 90 Days. I was able to complete the reading but by the time I went to bed, the storms started again and the bright lightening kept me awake.
Goal 2 is too loose 8 pounds in January. I am happy and proud to report that I am right on schedule with my eating plan and though I feel like I am starving,I am right on track. By the way, if anyone has any ideas for low-cal coffee creamer that doesn’t include aspartame or other artificial sweeteners, I would really like to hear about them!
Goal 3 is to finish one book that I’ve previously started. Another area that I am struggling with. We are gently going back to our homeschool schedule so this week it has been difficult to not only find the time to read but to find the energy and stamina. I am believing though that by getting back on schedule and by meeting my number 1 goal of an earlier bed time, that I will be able to read more starting next week. Plus, there’s always the weekends. They aren’t busy anyway right? Hahaha.
“Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.”. Philippians 3:13-14
Onward and upward. For those in Christ, it can only get better.
Be strong my friends and keep working toward those goals. The only true way to fail is to quit. If adjustments need to be made, the by all means, make those adjustments but don’t loose your focus; keep your eyes on the prize.
If God is for us, what difference does it make who is against us?
